Plaques

For the floral plaques, the background tiles are made first using clay, fired, glazed, then fired again; then the flowers are made using clay, fired, glazed, then fired again.  The wood is cut to fit, then sealed and the hanger is attached in the back.  The tiles are tiled onto the wood, then grouted.  The flowers and leaves are glued onto the tiles.  The plaque is ready to hang.

For the abstract plaques, the basic construction is the same, except the abstract shapes are glued onto the tiles at the end.
